This article outlines the steps needed to create a new mailbox on your Domains hosting account.



Step 1: Logging into the Cpanel


Login to the cpanel dashboard using your website address followed by /cpanel. For example, testwebsite.com/cpanel. Enter your username and password provided by NIMBLER to login.

Step 2: Viewing current mailboxes


When logged in, you will be presented with all the available Cpanel option, scroll down to the "Email" section and select the option "Email Accounts". This option will take you to the page with an overview of all your email accounts.

Step 3: Adding the new mailbox


After selecting the "Email Accounts" tab, you will be taken to a list of current mailboxes. To add new mailbox, select the "Create" button on the top right of the page.

Step 4: Adding the mailbox details


You now need to complete the details for your mailbox. You will be required to select your domainenter the name for the mailbox, the password to use, and then to verify the password by entering it again. Once you have completed the entries, save the mailbox by clicking the "CREATE" button at the bottom of the page.

Step 5: The details for your email account


Once your mailbox has been saved you will be able to use the mailbox. Please make sure you save these details on a safe place. They are used to set up your mailbox on your mail client (Outlook etc.)

The following details are used to add your email to your mail client:

Username: Your email address
Password: The password you selected
Outgoing Mail Server: mail.yourdomain.co.za or mail.yourdomain.com (Example: mail.testwebsite.co.za)
Incoming Mail Server: mail.yourdomain.co.za or mail.yourdomain.com (Example: mail.testwebsite.co.za)
Outgoing Server Port: 587
Incoming Server Port: 143
